From my childhood I have made it a habit not to tell my parents about my dislikes of food.
I have eaten almost everything that is served. First of all, I didn't want to see their sad faces.
Secondly I didn't want to see that the leftover is tossed into the garbage, and thirdly I learned that I got to like some kinds of food that I thought at first was not my taste.
Unlike me, my sister has strong dislikes of food and never eats what she hates.
Mostly she likes meat and sushi. But she never eats cooked fish or certain kinds of vegetables, she also hates natto which fermented soy beans because they smell bad.
Until recently I could not tolerate my sister's such behavior, because she doesn't seem to care about other people's feelings which I think is important.
To me my parents attitude to my sister was also unbearable. I thought they should be more strict on her.
One day I told my parents that I don't like my sisters eating habits, or the way my parents allow her to do so. I also told them that I felt sad that they never realized that I was making great efforts to let them down about the meals.
My parents told me that they tried to put my sister on a right diet to no avail, that she is taking a wrong path, and that I am doing the right thing for my health. They assured that they knew my making efforts and the way I care about other peoples feeling was my good point. I felt better.
My sister sometimes threw up when she was forced to eat something she hates, but as she grows up she got to like some vegetables. I hope that similar things happen again and again that she will get to like more food.

I often search the kind of novels.
I like on the web and read them online.
You can read many novels free of charge, because they are written by amateur writers.
One of my favorite novels is written by one of them.
One day,the writer declared that from now on she will sell her novels at digital book store.
Most of her fans were delighted that her novels gained good reputations and won social recognition.
But some fans were not happy about it and gave negative comments.
They charged that the writer is not thinking about fans, and insisted that the writer should continue to publish them for free.
Those who welcomes her decision commented back,
"Paying money for the work is paying respect to the work and the writer. I want to pay respect to them by paying money."
I will buy her novels when she issues them. Because I like her novels.
